1. INTENDED USE

The Gleam Sense™ device is designed for at-home cosmetic use to enhance the appearance of:

• Facial tone
• Skin vitality
• Overall skin radiance

For external use only
For healthy adults aged 18+ only
For face use only

This device is intended for cosmetic use and does not produce permanent structural changes to the skin.

2. ⚠️ CONTRAINDICATIONS (DO NOT USE IF YOU):

• Have a pacemaker or implanted electronic device (e.g., defibrillator, neurostimulator)
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have epilepsy or a history of seizures
• Have active cancer or suspicious lesions in the treatment area
• Have a suspected or diagnosed heart condition
• Have had recent facial or neck procedures/surgery without medical approval
• Have an active skin infection or underlying skin conditions
• Are under the age of 18

3. ⚠️ IMPORTANT MEDICAL & SAFETY WARNINGS

Consult a healthcare provider before use if you are under medical supervision.

Neck & Circulatory Safety
Do not use on the neck if you have:

• Carotid artery disease
• History of stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA)
• Carotid stenosis
• Unstable blood pressure
• Tendency to faint
• Thyroid conditions
• Prior neck surgery

Avoid the midline of the neck and thyroid area at all times.

Electrical Safety Warning
Do NOT apply the device across the chest, as electrical stimulation may interfere with heart rhythm.

4. ⚠️ SKIN & USAGE WARNINGS

Use only on intact, healthy skin.

Do NOT use on:

• Broken, irritated, or infected skin
• Open wounds 
• Severe or inflamed acne
• Areas with reduced or no sensation
• Areas prone to bleeding 
• Areas affected by recent or acute injury, including bone fractures
• Areas that have undergone recent cosmetic procedures without medical approval

Avoid:

• Eye area (including eyelids and orbital bone)

Temples

• Breast or groin area
• Direct contact with throat/thyroid area 

Do not apply over painful areas without medical advice.

Some users may experience skin irritation, burning or hypersensitivity due to the electrical stimulation. If any of these symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately.

5. ⚠️ SENSITIVITY & PHYSICAL RESPONSE

During use, you may experience:

• Mild tingling
• Gentle muscle stimulation
• Temporary redness
• Slight metallic taste

Less common but possible:

• Lightheadedness or dizziness
• Visual flashes (rare, near eye area)
• Mild headache or pressure sensation, particularly if used at high intensity or near sensitive areas

These effects are typically temporary. If the sensation feels too strong or uncomfortable, reduce the intensity or discontinue use.

Sensations may vary depending on intensity level. Higher intensity levels may increase the likelihood of sensitivity, discomfort, or temporary side effects such as redness, tingling, or headache.

If any unusual or unexpected reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately.

STOP USE IMMEDIATELY IF YOU EXPERIENCE:

• Burning sensation
• Skin swelling
• Persistent redness (over 24 hours)
• Pain or severe discomfort
• Difficulty breathing or swallowing
• Dizziness or faintness
• Persistent or severe headache

Seek medical advice if symptoms persist.

⚠️ HEADACHE PRECAUTIONS

• Avoid use near the temples and forehead if prone to headaches
• Start at the lowest intensity and increase gradually
• Do not exceed recommended session duration
• Ensure adequate hydration before use
• If headache occurs, discontinue use and reduce intensity or frequency in future sessions
• Consult a healthcare provider if headaches persist

6. ⚠️ METAL & DENTAL CONSIDERATIONS

• Remove all metal accessories before use (earrings, necklaces, facial piercings, rings) 
• Avoid direct use over areas with metal implants 
• If you have metal dental work (fillings, crowns, braces, or implants), you may experience a mild metallic taste or slight sensitivity during use.

If discomfort occurs, discontinue use or avoid treating areas close to the mouth.

7. ⚠️ ELECTRICAL & DEVICE SAFETY

• Do NOT use while charging
• Do NOT use near water (in the bath, shower, sink)
• Do NOT immerse in water
• Do NOT use near medical monitoring equipment (e.g., heart monitors) or electromagnetic devices (e.g., therapy or microwave/shortwave equipment)
• Do NOT use if the device shows any signs of malfunction or the cable is damaged
• If the device overheats, turn it off immediately
• Keep away from heat and direct sunlight
• Keep out of reach of children and pets

8. DEVICE USE GUIDELINES

• Use only as instructed in this manual
• Do NOT modify, disassemble, or attempt to repair the device 
• Do NOT use while driving, sleeping, or operating machinery
• Intended for personal, at-home use only
• Use only approved accessories 
• Use only certified USB power sources

9. PATCH TEST (RECOMMENDED)

Before first use:

1. Apply conductive gel to a small area (e.g., jawline)
2. Use the device on lowest setting for 1–2 minutes
3. Wait 24 hours

If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

10. CONDUCTIVE GEL REQUIREMENT

⚠️ Essential for safe and effective use

• Always use a conductive gel specifically formulated for microcurrent devices 
• Do NOT use the device on dry skin 

Do NOT use with:

• Oils
• Silicone-based products
• Non-conductive skincare

Reapply gel as needed to maintain proper glide and comfort during treatment.

Failure to use appropriate gel may result in discomfort or reduced effectiveness.

11. HOW TO USE

• Cleanse your face with an oil-free cleanser and pat dry the skin
• Apply an even, mask-layer of the microcurrent conductive gel
• Turn on the device
• Start at the lowest intensity and increase gradually only if comfortable 
• Ensure both spheres remain in contact with the skin
• Glide in slow, upward motions

A mild tingling sensation is expected; the treatment should not feel painful or uncomfortable. 

Intensity Levels

• This device has 3 intensity levels (Low, Medium, High)
• Always begin at Level 1 (Low) during initial use
• Increase intensity gradually only if comfortable
• Do not use Level 3 (High) during your first 3–5 sessions
• Higher intensity does not guarantee better results

⚠️ INTENSITY SAFETY GUIDELINES

• Always start at Level 1 (Low)
• Increase intensity gradually over multiple sessions
• Do not use high intensity on sensitive areas
• If discomfort occurs, reduce intensity immediately
• Overuse or excessive intensity may increase the risk of irritation or adverse reactions

Important:

• Work in sections so that the conductive gel does not dry out
• Do NOT hold in one area for more than 2–3 seconds

Duration & Frequency 

• 5–10 minutes per session 
• Maximum: 15 minutes 
• Do NOT use more than once per day. 
• Using higher intensity levels or extended sessions may increase the risk of skin irritation or sensitivity. Always follow recommended duration and frequency guidelines.

Recommended:

• 3–5 times per week
• Allow 24 hours between sessions

12. AFTER USE

• Turn off the device
• Clean the device
• Gently massage the remaining gel into your skin until it is fully absorbed. 
• Apply your preferred skincare products or Gleam Sense™ formulations 

13. CLEANING & HYGIENE

• Clean the spheres before and after each use
• Ensure the device is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.
• Use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth
• Do NOT use harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the device.
• Do not use alcohol or solvents unless specified

This device is intended for personal use only. Do not share it with others to avoid cross-contamination.

14. STORAGE

• Store in a cool, dry place
• Avoid exposing the device to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
• Avoid dropping or impact
• Keep out of reach of children 

15. TROUBLESHOOTING

• Device not turning on: → Charge the device
• No sensation: → Apply more conductive gel or increase intensity
• Discomfort: → Lower intensity or discontinue use
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself to avoid damage.
• Expected product lifespan: 3 to 5 years depending on use. Discontinue use if performance changes, device becomes damaged, or irregular operation occurs.

16. RESULTS DISCLAIMER

• Results are cosmetic and temporary
• Results may vary between individuals
• Consistent use is required
• This device is not a replacement for professional treatments

17. BATTERY SAFETY

• Contains a rechargeable lithium-ion battery
• Do not expose to extreme heat or fire
• Do not use if battery leakage is suspected
• Do not dispose in household waste. Follow local electronic waste regulations

18. WARRANTY & RETURNS

• Warranty covers manufacturing defects only
• Proof of purchase is required
• For hygiene reasons, opened or used products may not be eligible for return unless defective.

The manufacturer has considered reasonably foreseeable misuse in the design and safety instructions of this product. Any use outside of the instructions provided in this manual is considered misuse.
